La Donna is the first release in Shattered Vanity – a new series where I explore the edge of realism and concept. Still grounded in hyperrealism, this work marks a personal shift: a departure from simply drawing what I see, toward constructing deeper narratives through form, texture, and fragmentation.
The original portrait, drawn entirely in pen, takes inspiration from high fashion photography that has been literally and metaphorically shattered—torn, crumpled, and reassembled into something more evocative than perfect.
